other than rust pin holes it also now has a small plate of JB weld/quiksteel

i need a pan CHEAP!
im friggin broke and and need a suitable replacement

are there any out there that are shorter or would work better on a lowered car

im just trying to find out the Newest car that would have the same pan..
is the 200 or 250 pan the same?
if the 200 is are later model 200s the same?

65a alternator 4 prong external voltage regulator working fine i guess one night i installed a stereo and appearently the stereo drained the battery enough that it wouldnt start started it played with it, wouldnt charge enough over short time to restart charged it drove it to advance/autozone...wasn...

sorry if this highjacks your thread but i think you might sooner or later ask the sane type of questions im in a 62 comet as well (w/170-visiflow carb SCV/SVDA dizzy) most carbs will work but i have a question that might help you as well ithe PO changed oil pumps and Dizzy the dizzy is from 69-70 it...

a mount to the engine low above the oil pan
the other is a sliver of metal with an elongated hole in it and it bolts right behind the fan pully

Have a 62 170
Oil pan has a hole in it
Wanting to know what to look for at the local pull a part
Will later pans fit..will one of any 250 work??

The front lip of my hood is Gone.. at first i was very confused on how Just that section could rust away..
But then further picture looking shows there is what looks like a separate piece is missing

Am i wrong?
Where can i get said piece?

im guessing its a bad upper squarish rubber The trans is slanting to the back making exhaust rub n vibrating car untill full lock and the bolt and rubber donut are seperated from the rest of the metal I would like to replace rubber And bolt cuz im pretty sure im going to have to do some cutting Mine...

On how to run the vacuum lines for the wipers on a 62 comet

Ive got OG fuel pump n using front brakelines for the pump inlet n outlet
But didnt have Any hoses when i bought it

I have no clue where the hoses go
