I'm thinking the star wheel is that part that you turn to adjust the drum shoes. Which way would you turn it to make it loose? Turn it upwards or downwards?

My drums were still swedged on or what ever you call it. I had to grind around each lug to get the drum free. What did you use to grind around the lugs? A wire wheel? Hi all! In order to take the drum brakes off the 65 Comet Caliente do you first have to remove the wheel bearings? I saw one video on youtube that said you have to. If so, what size is that wheel bearing nut? Thank you

Well It might be a 3 on the tree transmission. It's got a hard top which I would have to convert to a convertible if I ever wanted to drive it as I am 6'5'' tall. I was surprised at how little room there is in the car compared with how big it actually is

Yeah I wish I could air up the tires, but they are rotted and off the rims. This is a dumb question but I will have many if I get into this. Where is the parking break? I'm assuming it is an automatic but I'm not sure as there are three pedals unless one is a parking break pedal
