Almost back to solid ground. Floors all fitted in, need final welding and grinding. Lots of other stuff going on too

Lots has happened, building a 331 with a 2x4 and toploader. Lots of floor work and engine compartment bracing! But it’s coming along.

Is it a big block or small block?? I wanted to represent the mercury somehow. I also got an early 260 timing cover with the breather tube, so hopefully that will work since the valve covers are solid.

The side trim is mounted to about 3000 holes in the body,, well maybe not that many but filling them and keeping the body decent will be an expensive task! Decals,,, I remember running those on the front fender between the bumper and wheel in the 70s 8) Fred I’m good at grinding... and some welding...

My 64 has the power steering which I am converting to the 65 centerlink. They are the same as these:
I got valve cover adapters for my Windsor to make a faux FE, until I can get the real thing. It will match the falcon in looks at least.i also ordered the price motorsports dual quad, bubble hood, air intake kit and thunderbolt style box air cleaner with ducting.
