THANKS,,,,my comet is drove just enuff to keep it up in shape,,,,about 18 mo's ago I was at the local Ford dealership hanging out drinking coffee, when a older gentle man brought his 2011 2dr jeep in and sold it ,I was so impressed with it ,I just bought it,,,,I run around in it,,I have already put over 13,000 miles just goofing off,,,,it has a 6spd manual shift, hard top cold air and cruise,,,clean and never been off pavement..OL POP has always liked those jeeps but FORD didn't build it so I would never buy one, besides I atill have my 77 bronco ,,,,I sure get a kick out of $&@# this thing........thoght my ford buddies were going to disown me,,,,,,POP

Bought a 4WD XJ about 25 years ago to haul equipment when I worked on the weekends. My daily driver for 20 years until I gave it to my son and bought my red Comet. Kept my wife in a Taurus or three during that time.
Here's last old Ford I built on after I sold the old rust bucket Cyclone. Fixed it up for my oldest son to drive to college.
He gave me this picture when he came down to visit.
