**Totally not related to my Comet**
I changed out my radiator on my Non-Ford brand daily driver, and neglected to completely tighten up the connections of the trans cooler lines, leading to a leak of probably less than a quart of trans fluid.
Now, my car shifts much smoother! The trans has 177k miles on it and was shifting a little bit rough ever since I bought it (at 160k miles).
I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this kind of thing before...
