There's nothing like the sound of a pushrod V8 singing at the top of her lung's.

BOTH cars are way COOL,,,many yrs ago ,I READ WHERE THE 60 MODEL big FORD was to wide to be on the public hwy,,according to the GOVERMENT,,but by the time it was discovered,FORD had built so many that uncle SAM let it slide.....don't know how true that was ..I just member reading it......my brother had one that was a 4door boat with a 6cyl 3spd ,,we hammered that poor old ford to death,,it needed paint so someone gave us a couple gallons, of house paint ,,we got a couple of 2in paint brushes, and mixed that paint and came up with a shade of violet color and went to work on it..we put used motor oil in it and poured what ever we thought would burn in the gas tank..toughest ole ford ever built...we pulled the bulb out of the oil light cause we got tired of it flickering.......those were the days!

I cant see one of the 60's without thinking of my grandmother, & riding in it to the city pool.especially a white one. hot on the way there, cold & blue-lipped on the way back.
