66 7 Litre Galaxie 500 428

Post by mercbill »

I know this is not a Mercury car but I thought I'd post it anyway since they share ford lineage.

I started talking with one of my bowling friends at the league today. I didn't know this but he owns a 66 convertible Galaxie 500Xl with a 428, 4 speed, factory air and the 7 litre trim package. It's a driver. He said he's owned it since 2001 and had the engine rebuilt. That's one rare car. He really likes it and takes it to car shows and club nights out. What's this one worth?

Was in love with one of those cars in a hardtop.

I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

Very rare. I like the 65's over the sixes but only the sixes got the 7 litre.
66 Cyclone GT; 245/60R15's on 15x8's and 215/70R15's on 15x7 Magnum's.
There's nothing like the sound of a pushrod V8 singing at the top of her lung's.
