Bucket seat placement

Ok, so it's been a couple of years since removing the buckets out of a 64 Cyclone. We just finished stretching on new seat covers from Jake (very nice quality) and put the seat backs on to the lowers. We set the two buckets next to each other and it is apparent that the backs are offset from the lowers, indicating there is a left and right seat. Also, both backs have a paint stripe on one of pivot arms, opposite sides on each seat, further indicating they have certain placement. Which way do they go?
Thanks for any info! Cary

The longer arm goes to the outside of the car on each side. This makes the seat back tilt “in” when you fold it forward to enter the back seat area.
Let’s see some pictures of your sons ‘64 Cyclone with the Winters rear end!
Here is the Winters unit going under my ‘64 Cyclone behind the Boss 302......

Thanks Jim, We were kind of "leaning" that way! I have a couple of pics on my phone of the rear, but since I lost my photobucket account, I am still lost as to posting. Johno tried to coach me through it, but I really haven't spent too much time trying to figure it out.... yet. http://www.cometcentral.com/forum/viewt ... f=9&t=4997

I was not able to open the link that was at the end of your message. It went to a page that said it was not available in the time frame. ???

Jim. If I hit the link it takes me right to it. Anybody else try it? http://www.cometcentral.com/forum/viewt ... f=9&t=4997 Try copying and opening in a new window. Aso you could try searching for CometJR post's, It was titled "64 Comet Project Overhaul" Or if all else fails, PM me an email address and I will send you the latest pic from my phone, as we did reconfigure the coil-over geometry quite a bit. Take care, Cary

Cary,
It still does not work. I have had this problem before where I cannot see an older post. I have attached a copy of what I see when I click on the link you provided, maybe an administrator will see this and know how to cure the issue.
I would still like to see the pictures, I will PM you my contact info.
Thanks!
Jim
