Heater hose routing?
V8 round body. I have found conflicting information on this. I found a diagram showing the hose coming out of the intake to the lower nipple of the heater core and the top nipple returning to the water pump. On a Stang site it is stated otherwise. And secondly, which line gets the shut off valve, feed or return line?

There's nothing like the sound of a pushrod V8 singing at the top of her lung's.

Re: Heater hose routing?
Doesn't really matter which hose goes where on heater core. The valve goes on the supply/feed hose.

The feed should go in the bottom to prevent air lock.
You know, on my 6 cylinder parts car there was a cable hanging and I thought it was heater control. I traced the cable and it is for the manual choke. I was wondering how to fill that choke hole. I'll use it for a heater shut off. Down here in south Florida I really don't need that core heating up inside the car all summer.
