And you may learn something about cooling, I did.

Thanks for the great vid of a stunning car and yes mixing stuff up can really trick us sometimes.
RCMike's car was featured on that site in 2014. I had Sassy down in SoCal that year and went to the shoot with him.
They took pics of my car too but I didn't make the grade. I think there is a link here in the lounge or maybe showing off.

I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

Thanks for linking a great story about a neat car! A friend of mine down the street drives a nice '64 Marauder, but only has a 390 2V. I probably won't be able to convince him to build it like the one in the video! The 351W I had in my Comet ran quite warm, but I had a performance pulley combination which under drives the water pump, a compromise when you have a street/strip car. Now with the 460W, at the risk of a horse or two, we are speeding the water pump up considerably. March Pulleys along with other manufactures now give you an option, enhanced performance ratio, or enhanced cooling ratio. If you have A/C, the performance ratio is not an option. Take care, Cary

I read that story on petrolicious site a while ago. https://petrolicious.com
The story was ( and is) interesting, I hope the owner is able to drive and enjoy that Merc for a long time.
‘64 Mercury Marauders are my second favorite, next in line to my ‘64 Cyclone. I once owned a ‘64 Parklane Marauder, it was black with white buckets, 330hp 390 with a cruise o metic on the floor. It is one of the cars I should not have sold, that might be another reason I have owned the Cyclone so long.

An R code Super Marauder has been close to the top of my list of desired cars for years. Not a lot of them around and they're super hard and costly to restore correctly so unless I win the lottery....
