How difficult would it be to change out my front bench seat on a 1962 Mercury Comet Custom 2 door... to the bucket seats and middle console like the S22 has??

Also, any advice on replacing some interior parts whether it be done a little at a time or all at once? Mechanically... the baby purrrrrs like a Kitten... Everything runs well. I would like to re-upholster the seats, carpet flooring (molded?), headliner. I live in the desert of the west coast so if anyone would suggest a business to look into, I would appreciate that. Comet is 170 cui, manual 3 speed. Replaced clutch plate assembly and flywheel, new exhaust system with upgraded manifold, front disc brake conversion kit, transmission gears were cleaned up and checked and needed no new gears...... I do plan on putting after market A/C in it since I live in the desert.. Not sure where to find one but will cross that bridge...

Nice. I think Classic Auto Air or Vintage Air should have a custom system to fit.

That's a sharp lookin' Comet! 8) Several guys on here have used Northwest Classic for their interior trim.
