Transporting Comet Across Country

Does anyone know how much it cost per mile to have someone to deliver a Comet across country. Also need names of some reasonable priced company. Thanks

I just shipped a car form Iowa to Texas.The buyer wanted an enclosed trailer.Took a couple weeks to get it done,cost was 1250.This was through a broker as most are.The driver was the owner of the company,trailer was a 2 car deal.The truck and trailer was in new condition and the driver was super careful.Everything worked out perfect.Sooo,I asked if I needed to ship again,could I call him directly.He said absolutely,would save the big broker fees but might take a while till he gets some traffic in my area. If you want his number,let me know. He also said that spring and fall are the worst time to ship as snowbirds are shipping cars north and south,traffic is heavy and prices are higher.
