1.) Switched out the oversized radiator overflow hose that was leaking at the bottom of my catch can. Now my car won't puke coolant unless it actually overheats!

2.) Measured my leaf springs and found I have what I believe are Mustang springs (22" front, 31" rear) rather than Comet springs (22" front, 33" rear). This would be why my shackles are pulled forward and sitting right on my frame rails.

3.) Had an odd moment where my T5 wouldn't go into gear with the engine idling. I shut the car off and it went into gear fine, then it was normal again once I restarted the car. The Internet says this could be my hydraulic clutch not disengaging fully, but it must only have been that one time because it hasn't happened since. Could the hydraulic line have gotten hot (I was tuning the engine and the line is close to the exhaust pipes) and caused that?

I changed oil on the truck and have now moved to the race car. I'm in the middle of draining oil on the race car now. Nothing like watching oil drain and sipping on a cold beer. Or maybe two. I also gapped a new set of plugs but I'll wait to put them in the day before I go to test n tune.

The Datsun is pretty cool, but I like the 2 door 57 Merc wagon the best. The lines, chrome, and dark color is beautiful.

I think that Merc would be a perfict fit for a healthy 351 Cleveland that can roast the tires.
