I HAVE NOT SEEN YOUR CAR, BUT THE HOOD WILL REALLY SET IT OFF. BE SURE TO DO SOME BEFORE & AFTER PIC'S. ALSO, I WOULD USE HOOD PIN'S. YOU DON'T WANT THAT BABY COMING OFF GOING DOWN THE HWY. STROKED...

If you had it drilled and tapped for hinges and hood latch everything will work.DO NOT use your stock hood springs,they will bow and eventually break the hood.The stock hood latch has kept my hood at for 14 seasons of 130mph drags!!! ROY.

I did order the hood pins. Also had it drilled for hinges; not sure if that includes drilling for the stock latch. I knew about taking the hinge springs off to avoid warping. Since I'll have the pins will probably use them as a failsafe. Thanks, Don

Ain't went 130mph,,,stock hinges[no-springs]and latch has worked fine on popscomet for lots yrs and many miles.Like ROY says...boxed up very good!...pop

Had mine for 15 years, only 115mph passes though , no problems. My body guy said it was high quality and did not need much work to prep it. I don't know about shipping, I drove down and picked it up, back than gas was a buck a gallon. Mounted mine to stock hinges, no springs, hood pins and a fox body Mustang prop rod.

Shipping is what is stopping me from a Crites order. Last time we bought a hood, shipping cost more than the hood. Maybe next years I will do a hood, fenders and bumpers. If I do I will head south to pick-up myself at the border or a friends house.

I ALSO USED FACTORY LATCH WITH HINGES, THERE RIGHT ABOUT TAKING SPRINGS OFF. BE SURE TO GET A HOOD ROD IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE. THE HOOD PINS ARE JUST A LITTLE SECURITY AND THEY LOOK REAL COOL!! AT LEAST I THINK SO I USED THE FACTORY HINGES & LATCH ON THE FIBERGLASS DECK LID. THE BUMPERS BOLTED RIGHT ON.
