U-HAUL Rant

Post by lavron »

Thought I would rant about U-Haul a little bit

Took the Explorer Sport Trac to U-Haul today to get a reciever hitch put on it so I could pull the flat bed trailer and tractor with it and save the Jeep a little misery. I called a couple of days ago to get a price and they told me $120, thought that was a decent price, the local place I have went to before wanted $180 so $60 was enough to make me go there, I should have been more cautious because I kept calling and they kept taking my number to call me back and never did, I just wanted to make an appointment to have it installed, thought they must be awful busy, found out poorly managed.

After they installed I found out they failed to mention the $60 install fee

Guess I should have known better but I don't think I will ever go back.

Done now, I feel better.

See Ya,
Mike

8) yeah, most places seem to forget that install fee. uhaul customer service has taken a nose dive over the last decade or so.
