Hi all:
Dumb question:
What the heck are these 2 canister looking parts for?

They are not connected to anything that I can see, so I really have no idea what they are for....
Thanks in advance for the help, hope you had a good chuckle!

Re: Canister question
Not sure, but you mention in one of your other posts that it's a convertible, which I know nothing about. Could they be associated with the raising/lowering system?

Re: Canister question
They're weights to somehow dampen harmonic noises. I read that somewhere. Heavy suckers.
66 Cyclone GT; 245/60R15's on 15x8's and 215/70R15's on 15x7 Magnum's.
There's nothing like the sound of a pushrod V8 singing at the top of her lung's.

Re: Canister question
Thanks for the info....guess that explains why there are no wires or hoses connected to them......just weights...must have had some form of resonance vibration that the canisters dampen....mystery solved!
