I think this was the year before last at Island Dragway in NJ. I'm lucky enough to be within 2 1/2 hrs of 8 different tracks. I guess i live in a lucky spot. There's always some place to go. Just found out Maple Grove Raceway is having 2 10k footbrake races for opening wekend next month. I better get my rear in gear and get the car together!

Great video, car sounds tough, what size engine are you running? i see your dial in 10.75 on the windscreen, whats your best time so far? you`re very lucky having that many tracks to chose from, you must be able to race nearly every weekend. we have a great track 20 mins away but our next closest track is 15 hours drive each way.
a friend put a camera in my 64 comet street car last year, its a not as loud (good sounding) as yours i have full exhaust & the steering wheels on the other side, i`m only running 11.00s. John

I'm running a 383 stroker windsor. It's not real crazy. I figure somewhere between 500 & 525 HP. My best is a 10.58 @ 126mph in real cool air. Keep in mind, we're doing this on a 8 1/2" tire! Not too bad for what it is i guess. We've been fortunate to win quite a few races with her over the years.

Hey John, I just realized something from your video. Your sittin' on the wrong side man!!!! HAHA Boy, that would take some getting used to for me. I'm such a creature of habit, i don't even like runnin in the left lane. Tha car looks awesome and sounds to be a smooth runner. Good luck with her! Mark

WE put a camra in grandson's 1st dirt track car,when he was 13/14 yrso,wound up having camra cleaned a few times before it finaly broke,,,years before then,didn't have a camra so put a small tape recorder in pass seat of son's 67 4spd fastback,he'd reach over /hit the button just before he'd turn the 1st light on,then after wards he study his shift points.. that was a neat video,great sound and a very great little comet !! thanks for postin it.... Thanks POP! I was at the track saturday night and she was running awesome. First round dialed a 10.68, ran a 10.681 with a .013 light. Fourteen thousandths package! The had a skull cramp second round and got beat on the tree. Yeah well. It was still a lot more fun than working for a living!! Mark

You guys are both running hard - thanks for sharing those videos - gets the blood to pumping I am hoping to pull mid-12's after my build is complete so 10's and 11's are sic fast! Do remember your cameras in the future
