351w stroker kits

Ok I have 351w 74 block ready to go, Since I dont have a crank, rods etc.... I think installing a stroker kit is an obvious way to go... So since a couple of you guys race I figured I would ask what you guys use, prefer. etc.
My thoughts are using a 393 stroker because. it going to be driven not daily but a lot.
I have heard those kits have the best rod angles for durability.

So any input on setups, what parts to use etc,, will be appreciated.

I use a 4.100" stroke,418",and the rod angles are fine!! If I was to build a mostly street car,a 393 [not sure of bore & stroke],or 408 [4.00 stroke X 4.030 bore],10.5 or 11 to 1 compression[depending on heads] would be my pick.My 418" uses a forged steel SCAT crank and SCAT 6.2" rods with a SB Chevy rod journal size.I also run ARP main studs with a Probe steel main support,KB flat top pistons at zero deck [12.8 to 1].You want to talk terrible rod angles, look at a 347 short deck block, mine made great power, but was a grenade with the pin pulled!!!!A 351W is a tight fit in a pre 66 Comet, but well worth the trouble!!!!! Thanks for the input. I plan on cutting my shock towers for alittle more room...
I have a set of cast iron TFS high ports I plan to use. I am also thinking about using the
Megasquirt fuel injection setup as well....

Sideshow;those are good heads,I would lean more to a 393"W with them. You will be happy you notched the towers,I have friends running Windsors with stock towers, doable, but not fun!!! ROY.

I actually have a 383 inch motor. A little uncommon though. Good rod ratio. It has 6.2 rod length with a 3.75" stroke.

Thanks. Since my other cars have been foxbody Mustangs I am familiar with Coast high. I just have not used anything from them. I had a 84GT that I just sold to my friend. But I am building a 89GT for my wife... I thought I was done with the Foxbody cars....
