I don't believe so. I think the mercomatic 2 spds were standard prior to '65.dont know if a c4 was available in a 6 before 65

Early style C-4's were available in '64 Comets and Early 64 1/2 Mustangs. Small spline 5 bolt bell-housings... FYI, But I think only in V-8's
