Post by rapdweasel »

if i wanted to switch my single brake master cylinder to a dual brake master cylinder. would one from an early mustang work. i dont want power brakes just a manual dual brake master cylinder. i thought one fro a 65 mustang would work with a mustang proportioning valve.

It should work without a problem, make sure you have everything though back to the pedal, including the brake rod.

65 Mustangs also had single resevoir master cylinder. You need a 67-up dual resevoir master cylinder.

if you change your mind about the pb set up, a suzuki swift pb set up works great in these cars because it is small enough to clear everything and takes minor mods to fit it.
