They are not hipo heads.
66 Cyclone GT; 245/60R15's on 15x8's and 215/70R15's on 15x7 Magnum's.
There's nothing like the sound of a pushrod V8 singing at the top of her lung's.

True hi-po heads should have screw in rocker studs and cast in spring pockets. I've only laid eyes on one set, but from the research i did at the time other than those two items they're exactly the same as other 289 heads. If a fella is looking for a set of them I have an unmolested C5OE pair.

I was under the impression that only the Hipo heads got the 54.5cc chambers? Which the seller apparently measured. you are correct on the rocker studs though. Realistically im taking whatever set i buy to the machine shop to be reworked regardless but i want the 54.5 cc heads so i at least start with the same base as my 260 heads so im not take .060 or more off the head to try to get back to the 54.5 cc. If you have an extra set with the 54.5 cambers Dan i would be interested.

Almost all of the C3-C6 heads were 54cc nominal....meaning a cc or up/down is kind of to be expected. Things got murky in ‘67-‘68 with a few different head castings.

I wouldn’t worry about 2cc but if you want to be sure, you’ll have to CC them yourself. I wouldn’t pay more than $50 bucks for unknown condition C6 heads!!
'cause Johno says you gotta have a sig pic! :)

Ran out to the shop and checked them out. They're C5AE heads, non hi-po. My references here state they're a 52-55 cc head.
