66 Mercury Monterey roller
66 Mercury Monterey roller
Saw this on the Vintage Mustang Forum (VMF). For those folks out in the California area, sure a lot of good parts for someone who happens to be into that model.

Turnpike cruiser! Looks really complete, toss in a drivetrain and cruise.
1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.

I dig the old Breezeway roofline
Wonder if the back glass rolls down in the '66?
Get a tornado blowing through the cab.

I know a guy locally that has a 64 and it rolls down, I am guessing it still opened in 66. Another local guy has a 57 Mercury with that window and it is called a turnpike cruiser.Joe Travers wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2023 9:23 pmI dig the old Breezeway roofline

Yeah, a drivetrain or one has a treasure trove for parts

Too good of shape to part out. Needs a strong FE and a C6.
This car is a great deal. Just above scrap price.

Would that have been a 428/C6 drive train?
It suffers the fate that I think lots of Mercs have suffered - getting the engine/trans parted out for a Mustang

More than likely, a 390 but were made w/ 410 & 428. Would be interesting to see the data plate.
Heck, Joe. This is in your neck of the woods. Pick it up, dime it out and give it to your wife

Have to think of the future, man. You could ride around town smoking big cigars with all of the glass down

Button-down polyester Hawaiian shirt and a few gold chain necklaces, maybe a fedora
Knew some old guys like that in the late '60s but they drove Buick Rivieras.
