Complete toploader shifter. Original. 1965 Caliente

Post by Grant6395 »

I have in my possession, a complete 4 speed original shifter , that was removed from the car in the early to mid seventies. It is in near perfect shape. Complete with boot and mounting plate. It’s a little dusty, but is ready to bolt on . Not all worn and floppy. I acquired it from a dear friend that recently passed. He bought his comet new in 65. My current comet build won’t make use of it. Thank you for the interest. I’ve included a few photos. Pm me if this is something you’re interested in. Again, it was off a 1965 Comet Caliente, 289 4 sp toploader . Thank you. Grant Klohn.

I may be interested Grant. Do you have a number in mind?
1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.

My 65 Caliente convertible came with a T 10 and that looks like the same shifter and the same shift pattern.
