c4 trans check valve needed

I bought a 1970 c4 trans as a core to rebuild and the convertor drain back valve is missing they apparently they can pop out when you pull the filter off.Thsi one didn't have a filter so I am sure that's what happened .I cant seem to source a new one online ..I will do the old school actually going to a trans shop on days off but ..Does anyone have a few C4 trans bits lying about and would part with one or a source for a new one? I would pay postage + for one
It does seem some people remove it for more cooling but that doesn't seem 100% to me.I will get sufficient cooling elsewhere so I don't want to out think Ford engineering on this one
