Finding letters with good chrome and studs intact is also rare.

Ya Jim, thx...I’m finding that out the hard way. I’m watching those on eBay. Also calling on a CL ad tomorrow. I walked the street out of the neighborhood last night I but nada.

Where do those letter come off of? I checked my pile of trim, and I have some that look very similar that are on the ‘arrows’ toward the back of the car, but they don’t have posts. Just two like rivets per letter.

You’ve got it...very back of the quarters, inside the arrows. They’re curved to fit the sheet metal.
