Groover that's 1.08" Venturi if the tag is correct to the carb.

All working and in good shape? Bring it along and let's make a deal. Now don't suppose you have a 4v intake laying around?

Well, as I'm reading up, it really would make more sense to build a different block (289). Adding a 4bbl to the 260 isn't going to give much more. It'll make good conversation around the tent though :)

My thoughts as I was reading it but why stop at a 289, not real up on Ford small blocks but isn't a 351W physically the same externally? Do you have a C4 or the Ford-o-matic? 5 bolt or 6 bolt bellhousing, all things to consider. The * inch is plenty strong for most anything moderate you can throw at it from everything I've heard.

I believe the 351W is a bit wider and taller than the 260/289/302. Thats why intake manifolds and distributors won't interchange with a 289 or 302.

I could use a passenger side windshield wiper arm if any one is holding.

I have one. I think either side is the same. I'll throw it in the trunk.

There's a pic in the Mannel SBF book of a Ford tech installing a 3x2 intake and carb setup in a Fairlane 260! Cmon Groover it'll be ok! If you get the 4V setup stick a C9OZ hyd Hipo cam in there while your at it

You have more than one (original wiper), John?

I could use one too. My old original one works pretty good, but the MAC's replacement one doesn't hold the glass for $h!t.

But seriously, was there a 260 with a 4 bbl factory option? Perhaps a 63 Falcon Sprint? Pretty sure you didn't get 260 a 4 bbl in 1964.
