Good Day! I hope All are enjoying a pleasant one.

I have a 1964 Comet 404, I'm shopping for an electronic ignition conversion kit aka: point elimination kit for my Inline 6/200 CID... and my research leads me to believe this is the best product/manufacturer to use... I'm not sure what exact model I need... I'm waiting to hear back from Pertronix...

They also have coils to go with them, but there are others just as good from other manufacturers, that you can find on Ebay

Here's one I found on Ebay that I think is pretty cool...

john B,

I just put 1261 in my 1965 404 with 200cid, very easy. You will need to know the distributor that you have in order to complete. I found mine at Oreilly's and was good price, they didn't have the flame thrower but used a 42000v excel coil. Performance is great, easy upgrade for a better running car. Good luck.

I installed a Pertronix in my 4Wd and it works flawlessly. Hall effect is so simple. .

A previous owner had installed an electronic igniton module to the Load a Matic over 20 years ago IN MY 66 ROUND BODY 200 ci and it is still working fine. It is either a Lucas or Bosch.
