170 in my 63 Valve adjustment questions?? Please help!

I think i need a valve adjustment in the old 63. i have no problem finding out the gap, but I don't know wether the dang motor has hydraulic or manual lifters? I believe if I have hydraulic lifters I don't need to adjust it with the motor running but I'm not sure. If I do, I have to adjust it with the motor running then as I have it figured you go out and by these little plastic oil return things so you don't get oil everywhere and then you just adjust to the right gap?? Idk I need help you guys know anything about this??

I believe that the 6's had hydraulic lifter, my 200 did. I believe if they were solid that it'd be a noisy little engine. If the 170 is setup like the 200 then the rocker arms will be on a rail and I'm don't know how or if they can be adjusted. I'll post a link to a manual for you.
