I'm picking up a 64 Comet 404 today. What kind of mileage do you guys get with the little six's?
And what is the difference between a 202 and a 404 besides 300 lbs?

There's nothing like the sound of a pushrod V8 singing at the top of her lung's.

404 has "Jet Stream Fabric and Crush-grain Vinyl" while the 202 merely has "Domino Cloth"
Here's all you ever wanted to know. Trim level is the primary difference.

Can't speak to the mileage issue.

That's it. The cloth has rotted but all of the vinyl looks fine so they could be refaced.
I went to buy it yesterday. Problem was it was signed over to the family member (original 1964 title) and they never notarized it or titled it. Why do people do that? He agreed to do the title work. I asked to look at the title again. It matched the door tag but the fender apron was stamped for a 260, "F" code. The car, title and door tag are "T" code and that is what the car is. So the apron was stamped wrong when they bought the car new in 1964. Every other digit is correct; I passed on it. If anyone in the Fl. area is interested I can send you that way, it is in Lakeland.
