Hood grilles

Post by thrnelson »

I don't know about anybody else but having the openings on the Cyclone style hood wide open concerns me a bit. Just the other day in my other car I had a bird embed itself into the grill. To solve this problem I designed a couple hood grilles and had them laser cut. What do you all think?

Pretty cool, I guess you could always paint them black if they looked to bright.

How are you holding them in?

I just received them this morning so I just set them in for the picture. I plan on using four screws going through the grill into small threaded pieces of metal. I am going to "ding" the last threads after I get the small pieces of metal started so that there is no way the screws and small pieces of metal fall off into the engine compartment.
