65 hardtop Window Gasket

Post by Flintlock »

I put new side window rubber gaskets on my 65 hardtop a while back. I noticed that the rear windows when rolled up have a piece of vertical rubber on both the inside and outside of the window. The front windows however have all the rubber behind the window (inside the car). Is this the correct orientation?

Yep. the door has to be able to open,,,without rolling down the window.

Now why didn't I think of that...lol Makes good sense. I guess my window needs some kind of minor adjustment. When I wash the car a little bit of water gets inside from the water hose. Not a lot but I'd rather not have any.

Thanks!
