1967 Rear Bumper replacement

Hi All,

I have a 67 Comet convertible. My rear bumper...with good chrome..has been dented in the middle. I want to get it worked on sooner or later, but in the meantime I want a suitable replacement.

Question....The 66-67 Fairlane rear bumpers are being reproduced and the 67 Comet looks very similar due to the vertical tail lights on both cars. Will the Fairlane bumpers work on the 67 Comet? Since both have the "Detail" for the lights. Thanks for any thoughts.

I've added 2 photos...Blue Comet (mine)...and a 67 Fairlane. It looks like I may have to add a lower bolt on each side, but I think the Fairlane bumper would work???
