65 hood options?

Post by ants875 »

I really like the late 65 cyclone hood (the one with the scoops mid way up the hood) but don't see where anyone makes a repo of them and understand that they don't come up for sale very often. so what other options are there? anyone know where a guy could come up with something similar? Anyone have any pics of other style hoods? I hvae seen the ram air hoods and they are not quite what I'm looking for (seems the ones I have seen reproduced require hood pins and they are for sure not something that I'm into). Any help ore ideas would be much appreciated.

Thats the hood that I want I was just hoping that someone made them of something similar. As for the crites I just don't want hood pins but we'll see. I think the car needs some kind of scoop, I was also thinking about getting a a 65-67 GTO hood and putting the scoop on the factory hood. I like that hood but we'll see, I'm not ready yet to start the body work just trying to get the running gear together but I'm trying to formulat my plans for the car as a whole.

Thanks
