In 1964 I graduated from college, got married and bought my first new car. It was a 64 Caliente convertible. Now, 54 years later, my wife still trembles every time she hears the name Comet for fear that it might be our original convertible. She thinks that if that person could document that it was ours they could put almost any price tag on it.
Since that time I have owned eight others including one Cyclone and five that I parted out. Two of the others I repaired and drove as daily drivers. The Cyclone I started to restore but a guy offered me a stupid amount of money for it and I let it go.
Yesterday I wired the money to the owner of a restored Caliente that I'm anxious to bring home. I do have two other classics that I plan to sell to make room for the new one.
Anyway, I'm back. Hello folks
New (sort of) 64 Caliente owner

Thanks for the welcomes! I appreciate it. And I will post some photos soon. Probably when I figure out how. As you can tell I'm not young anymore and it takes a while to learn these things.
Yes, I posted some information about AM/FM radios from my parts manual.
I don't think I mentioned that I am also a long time member of the International Mercury Owners Association.
