I was waiting for someone to make a joke. I'm surprised it didn't happen on my first mention of it in performance thread.
But I'm thinking along johno's line, Depends.

I also finished welding on the back pieces of the donor car and welded in patches for the inner fenders. There is a ton of body work to be done, but at least the back panel is welded on. I'm thinking the next project to go along with ongoing body work is going to be brakes. The plan is to upgrade the brake system on my blue green Comet and transfer the stock stuff to the white car. Once I get brakes on the car, at least than I can start it and move it around easier.

I will have a few with me at Pigeon Forge this year if anyone else wants to buy one without having to pay shipping.
See Ya,

Mike I definitely would like 2 of them in PF. Or I don't care to pay shipping, Pugs.

Pugs it will be just whatever the base cost was, I think $14 each if I remember correctly, there are 7 left, so if you take 2 that leaves 5.pugs65 wrote:Mike I definitely would like 2 of them in PF. Or I don't care to pay shipping, Pugs.
Sometime I will have another batch done but there has to be several on an order to get a cheaper price.
See Ya,
Mike

Loman,
Nice work on that donor car, you have done a good job saving it from becoming a parts car!
Mike,
I'd also like a plate, I'll send you a message.

I also tried to burn down my car and shed today. The motor in the white car will start but not run very long. I usually get it fired up long enough to throw it in gear and back it to where I can work on it. Today I got it running and then it backfired or so I thought. The hood was open and I saw fire in the carb. So I started cranking the motor again to extinguish it. It wouldn't go out. I hopped out of the car and looked in the engine bay and I notice the fire was not coming from inside the carb but all around it and the intake manifold. I grabbed a rag and tried to put it out but that didn't work either. So I grabbed a fire extinguisher and hit it once to put it out. I'm guessing the float stuck and gas poured everywhere. After I got done welding today I had to push the car back in its hole to get my race car and truck back in the shop for the night. That car does not push easy.
Today's events are why I suggest everyone have a fire extinguisher in their garage/shop just in case. This was the first time I've ever had to use one and I'm glad I had one available.
