Had to build another rear spring perch and patch some bad spots.

Well it was! I got tierd of fighting the rust in the tank & the leaks so I took it out to clean & coat the inside with REDKOTE which seems to be good stuff, though I haven't ran it yet. The glass pitcher I used to pour it in has 2 coats but even in an area where it only has 1 you cannot scratch it off with your fingernail. I did get the itch to drive it & straped a boat tank in it & did a little scratchin. I had to put the old tank in for a floor to do so but have since parked it for winter repairs on tank & trunk. there's not any other comets around here so peaple look at me like a dog with his head cocked sideways. everbody wonders what it is. some say it was a spinoff of a fairlane with the stacked headlites, & I tell them NO, fairlanes had side by side lites in 65 so fairlanes must be the spinoff! hey Fred you looked happy to be working over at Joes, why dont you come to Tenn. & You could have a blast in my shop!

yes, thats probably where im happiest,,rippin apart someone elses stuff!! :lol:
serious, gettin together on a project with someone always ignites me.
although tenn. is abit of a hike,,, tell ya what,, drag it over and ill give a hand,,, :D
