I thought I saw somewhere where Matt (Loner) asked me about the progress on the Falcon :?
Maybe I'm going nuts!

Here's the progress-
Engine is done and sitting in my garage.
Floors are DONE! Shock tower reinforcing plates are done and the engine compartment is painted matte black.
I acquired some steel wheels for it. Need to buy some regular ol street rubber to set her down on and drive it around to piss off my neighbors.
I bought the side exhaust, Kirkey racing seat and the seat mounts.

The immediate goal is to get the front and rear suspension in and set it on the ground.
Then the drive train goes in. Fit the seat and then install the cage.

:D this is fun!! Pics to come...

Ok Matt that's what I figured!
Here are some pics. (Postimage is acting weird so I put some thumbnails up. Click on them for a bigger image.)

Decided to ditch the Futura deluxe dash for a plain mustang version.

A couple more

Floor and inner rockers completed.

She's still a shell

Test fitting the 289 and Lakewood bellhousing. I had to cut a piece out of the driver side tunnel to make a bulge for the bellhousing to fit.

Thanks Matt! I'm at a crawls pace but still getting things done as I can.
Once she's on the track it would be cool if you could make it down here to check it out. Maybe even drive your Comet!

You get her on the track I'll be down there to watch you run.
Only getting in a day or two a month on my Comet. So I desided to just get it running and drive it.
I did a couple fenders for a guy a few months back and it snow balled on me. It is so bad I'm turning work away.

Awesome Matt! I was just at a Cobra meet at Willow Springs with lots of Mustangs (of course), a few Falcons and one Comet. It was a blast watching them run! Motivation for sure!
I agree with rocket...turning down work is a good sign!

Man I hope so. Summers coming so the wee ones will be home :x More kiddie time less Falcon/Comet time. But I'll squeeze in what I can.

Can't wait to hear you small block roar!
