Blue Oval Industries under drive pulley set
Dropped the engine in the Falcon over the weekend. I was putting the new under drive pulley set on. When I tightened up the alt. pulley it hit the alternator housing. I removed it and measured. The factory pulley is .025 thicker. I thought there was a shim/washer behind the pulleys. This would be the 93 Mustang alternator. If so, who has one laying around?

Figured it out, a truck alternator and the billet pulley ain't gonna work. Sigh.

Re: Blue Oval Industries under drive pulley set
I had a different problem with my truck motor- v belt alt pulley that came with a billet under drive set. it worked but the fancy nose cone contacted my fan. but it is separate so I left it off.
