aluminum valve covers

Thinking of getting a set of alum valve covers for my 65 ,289 comet caliente, choices are cobra powered by ford ,comet powered by ford, what is your opinion on the choice .thanks

ME 2....that's a no brainer...the cobra one is pretty ,that's what I have on my 289 cobra kit car....but your putting yours on a comet.. :wink: :wink: thanks N good luck....POP

I vote Comet, too. I got a set last year at the Charlotte car show that just say Powered by Ford.

I vote for some plain finned ones, keep it era looking. People know its a Comet, unless you shaved all the badges.

I like the original looking “Cobra” valve covers. Available over the counter at Ford dealers back in the day

My vote is for the Comet valve covers. But these are the ones I'm running.
