Removing and installing cam bearings

Does anyone have any tips and tricks on how to remove and install new cam bearings without a cam bearing tool? i know i can buy them online for not too much but what can i say im cheap :lol:
62 Comet 170, dagneham trans, 2.8 7.25 rear 260 T5 8 inch swap planned for the future.

I always get the let the machine shop do it when they vat & bore the block.

Yep...x3. They’re pretty soft (e.g. easy to damage).
