Steam Holes

Post by Rocket989 »

Using 289 heads on a newer 302 block…I read to use the older head gaskets as a template for where to drill & the size bit. I'm wondering if the holes need to be drilled to a specific depth (like putting tape on the drill bit)? Certainly don't want to go too deep!
