FE Tunnel Wedge

Post by 383MERC »

So happy! I just picked up a beautiful tunnel wedge dual quad intake for the AFX project. Now it's just putting the rest underneath it!

Is this for the wagon project?

I think so....I only say that because i'm having thoughts of possibly doing my 65 hardtop into a AFX instead of the wagon. The wagon is very rough! It would be kind of a shame to cut the 65 since it only has 25K miles on it, but it's not an original V-8 car. I converted it all over fron 6cyl. The main thing is it would save me a lot of time and money. Also, it's one more garage bay i don't have. I'm really torn at this point. Either way, it's not stopping me from collecting parts. HELP!!!! Mark

How much do you drive the Hardtop and how far?
I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

I just drive it around town and to local cruises. It's all original paint and interior, but not "show" quality. Still turns a lot of heads though. I bought it and spent about 9k just doing the drive line in it. That's the shame. If i build it into a drag car, all of that comes back out.Image
