I Have a 390 FE in my '66 Cyclone bored .030 over comp cam, flat top Pistons, 11:1 compression, extensive head work, headers by Mad Dog, edge brook performer intake and 750 cfm carb. Plus electronic ignition. The 390 handles the 750 great. Yours should do fine with the mods you made.

I am very happy with my FPA's. I have a video about it on our youtube channel;

And Roy is right about the wealth of knowledge at Ford FE.
