seat installation? Plese help

Post by cypher »

So I got my front seats redone. I installed the seat rails but for some reason the inner rear bolt is lower than the other 3. Did I install the inner rail wrong. They are directly on the floor board then I'm supposed to install the block spacers, then the seats correct? It has about an inch of gap from the seat bracket to the rail bolt. This is for a 63 s-22

There was a spacer there originally. I think it was rubber, but use what ever you want.

Does the spacer go between the floor board and the seat rail?

Here's what you need. Pictures from my '63 S-22 Convertible.

Seats tracks between the S-22 Convertible are different from the Sedan S-22.

Here are the Sedan tracks

Not that it makes any difference but this diagram had the adjustment knob & lever on the wrong side of the seat :? . also it appears to be hardtop tracks, with no skirts.(more useless info  )
