Hello!
I just wanted to ask what seems to be a simple question:
Has anyone ever updated their 1962 Mercury Comet custom to an aftermarket/under-the-dash AC system? I have been unable to find a kit made for the 1962 Comet, and I had a pretty sour experience when I updated a Jeep Wrangler to add an A/C system with the belts/pulleys not working properly... I know getting the correct parts/pulleys/brackets for a 1962 170hp engine to run AC might be a problem!
My 1962 still runs the original generator, and has the 170 HP engine for the Custom. But it has no factory A/C parts or pieces, or pulleys or brackets!
Any suggestions on sources for a complete kit would be greatly appreciated!

Early falcons with the 6 shouldn't be much different than a comet. check out Classic Auto Air they may have a setup that will fit. sometimes you find stuff on epay that may work.

What he said; give them a call. They are great to work with.
