Hey all just bought a 62 falcon sedan and it didn't come with a trunk key. or door key. or any keys. But I got the ignition switched out and the doors are on the way. but I am stumped on how to get the trunk open so I can remove the lock. Anyone know an easy solution? I assume I am going to have to crawl thru the back seat but whats next?

ANOTHER worn key might help,,have used a ign key from another old ford,squirt some WD40 in there and wiggle the crap out of the key while turning.....WHAT'S NEXT ? you asked,,,,short of a LOCKSMITH...REMOVE THE REAR SET BACK AND CRAWL IN THERE....NEARLY all of us have been there,,,good luck.........WATCH FOR SPIDERS AND MICE AND RATS AND GATORS AND SNAKES AND ANYOTHER LIVING VARMINT THAT MIGHT MAKE YOU JERK AND BUMP YOUR HEAD,,,,JUST git ur done and enjoy that little FORD !!!!!!! .........................POP

Once your in there and get to the lock you'll see a little lever you can push left or right and it will release the lock.

Got in there and got it open thanks for your help. Now I just have to figure out how to get the lock cylinder out of the trunk ornament without damaging it.

Have you ever hunted Indian artifacts in the farm field's? That's a good area for it.

Is there a number on the glove box lock? I do have a set of master keys for Fords. If you knew the number I could copy a key that would work.

I believe there is a 3 on it.
