I replaced the bulbs in my dash panel with LED bulbs. Everything works fine except the turn indicator light when making a right turn. Left turn the bulbs works fine.
Looking at the wiring diagram the polarity to the bulb changes depending which direction the turn switch is in (left or Right). Switch in left position 12 volts is going to the center (bottom) contact of the bulb. Switch in right position 12 volts going to side of bulb (normally ground).
Since LED are polarity sensitive the bulb only lights in the left position.
Spent several hours trying to figure this out.
My solution is to use standard bulb.

Re: LED Bulb for Dash Turn Indicator
If you have an indicator that is one bulb for both sides, you need the 3 prong flasher. I the P (pilot) spade is for the indicator but google knows.
