gotta agree there, that's pretty rough, and we can't even see the bottom.

66 Cyclone GT; 245/60R15's on 15x8's and 215/70R15's on 15x7 Magnum's.
There's nothing like the sound of a pushrod V8 singing at the top of her lung's.

I'm headed over to look at it again. He's going to pull it to his garage and lift it up for me. H swears the frame is good along with torque boxes. He does say the floor pans The guy has some pretty cool older cars out in his yard. He has an early 2dr comet with a 260v8 sitting.

That body is going to take loads of work. if you fix all of it will take a great deal of time & you'll probably ened up spending more than the 8000 that the one in oregon will cost. you could get it for 7500-8000 & drive immediately. here is the link again in case you missed it;

even if you had to fly out there & drive it back would probably still be cheaper than fixing & painting the one you posted.

difference is in having the original 289 and 3 speed trans... Would love to keep it as original as possible. The guy quoted me 7k for paint and body. Id be in it right around 9k before i got into interior and suspension. I'm ok with spending time building one instead of buying someone elses swap.

Not a bad deal and not a lot of work left to do. Floor pans, upholstery and and upgrade to a 4 or 5 speed. Maybe he'll negotiate on the price. Nice looking ride.

OOPs looks like it already has a T5 so that's done.

I would LOVE to have a '64 wagon...no place to keep it much less T&M!! A deal cropped-up on eBay about a year ago that had me trying... Not much bodywork though...mostly drivetrain & suspension. If original means a lot to you then it does...and how you plan on enjoying it. If between those two you're good with something...go for it!! :lol: :mrgreen: :lol: :lol:
'cause Johno says you gotta have a sig pic! :)
