'64 Convertible build... will start of kinda slow...

Post by hotrodbrando »

OK, just more or less starting this as a placeholder... Finally got one of the pics resized so I could post it.
What's coming up for it?
-entire car needs to be scuffed down, some rust spots fixed and then repainted. Was done 5 years ago and terribly neglected...
-I'll stitch up a new interior for it since I can't seem to find covers for a convertible... That should be fun...
-warm up the 289, don't know how much yet...
-Mustang II swap
And then we shall see what happens...
Might start ripping apart the interior this weekend. Will post more pics as I take them...

I like it, can't wait to see progress, don't worry about going slow, I think I hold the record for slowness anyway

See Ya,

Start slow, who cares, you're driving a '64 Convertible Comet :) All is right with the world.

If you decide to get rid on any unnecessary parts, like those original, slightly discolored but not too pitted scuff plates, just let me know ;)

Would you belive the car came with two sets of orignal, slightly discolored but not pitted scuff plates?

If you're saying you have an extra set of original convertible scuff plates that you would let go  , I'm saying I'm interested :D

I'll snap some pics of them this weekend so you see what they are. Got any Comet side letters? Or better than crap interior windshield trim?
