Vintage Drags at George Ray’s

Post by A/FX »

This weekend is the vintage drag race at George Ray’s Wildcat Drag Strip in Paragould Arkansas. I arrived late this afternoon, tomorrow Saturday and again on Sunday they will be running at this historic track. This should be a great event with some real nostalgic cars running on one of the oldest tracks in the country.
Here are a couple of the early arrivals:

Wish I was closer.Love that kind of stuff! There's bound to be some pretty fast cars. Is the track smooth enough?

I road down the track in a golf cart this morning, it is far from a smooth surface. The shut down area i
has broken concrete and a bunch of bumps.
The boys are hav’n fun,
